Kansas City – Best Bakery I have found in the United States…Blackhole Bakery, 5531 Troost Ave.
I had the best pecan sticky bun and pistachio, chocolate chip cook, and oatmeal cookies I have eaten.The “mochi’s” (glutinous rice or tapioca flour) pistachio and a blueberry one had great flavor and a really nice chew and texture. The only pastry not the best I have had was the twice baked croissant (Bakery Nouveau in Seattle is the best I have had).
